apple offers very poor service{11}
it’s official – i tried to today, in two seperate ways, to buy an iphone 4 .. do you think i could NO !! well fuck me !!
the first option and in my humble, yet angry opinion, the best deal going around (at least for me ) in australia is the optus $59.00 per month deal, nothing up front, i.e. no money upfront for the phone, you just pay $59.oo per month. i went online to order it ( online even included 2 free months and free access to facebook and twitter #tbaootweets ) but alas no bloody phones in stock. dissappointed YES !!
so next idea, only because the bride’s away and i’m going off to do some grocery shopping, i try the apple robina store. friendly young man shakes my hand, like i’m his dead uncle giving him the keys to the family fortune and then races off to check that they can, READ WILL, sell me an iphone 4 on the $59.00 deal through optus ( not an outright purchase ), he comes back proudly stating of course they can – here’s “not the best business customer service decision” i’ve ever been involved in .. only if i come back tomorrow and line up at 9.00 am, i’m standing aghast, with the australia’s national debt in my trousers, or at least ready access to it, ready, obviously keen as evident by the category and many posts on tbaoo, to buy an iphone 4, yet - NO – go away, we don’t want you to buy it now, we will tell you when you can buy an apple iphone 4 .. FUCK OFF !! of course i realise they don’t know my backstory, but you just don’t do that to customers, unless of course you’re apple, it seems.
so unbeknownst to this young man of course, who by the way was cracking his knuckles like a gypsy knife throwing expert possesed, tbaoo had recently bought an imac and iwork and stood tall and proud ready to purchase then next “must have” fashion, tech fan accessory .. an iphone 4. i want the one with antenna troubles, camera problems and apparently glass that breaks pretty easily, yes i know, even though i’ve read and heard of these issues, i want one, can i have one .. NO.
so what do i do now, i wait ?? - i wonder if that’s that next piece of technology from apple – an iwait, well, i’d call it iwon’tfuckingwait. ( calm, alan, it’ll be alright )

I did the same thing last Saturday (4th August) ~ Walked into the Robina store and wanted to sign up for the Optus $59 Cap ~ Told me yes I could do that….got excited….just to be told to come line up some other day to get a reservation (which would be later in the day and NOT at the time I lined up) and then I could get an Iphone 4 ~
Now deciding if I should go line up or wait for end of October and get it at Optus (rumour from a friend who knows a friend working at Optus….says more stock won't be available until end of October)
Decisions…..now which to do XD ~

ha. good luck with that. I am onto my 3rd i phone 4 order with optus. I ordered over the phone on the first day they came out. Even pre-ordered the iphone 4 sim pack before the phone came out.
The stuffed the first 2 orders up, I rang up again last week (they put the previous order in for an iphone 3gs!) They have done up a new order and said I would get it this week, but do not have an order number or any email confirming that order, so I am not holding my breath that they have not stuffed this order up either.
I am half thinking the new windows phones might be pretty good as well..

iTunes won’t let me download any apps because it says my security code is wrong,which is Impossible. And I have tried everything to fix this and can’t and no-one at apple will help me!!!
