queensland floods{6}
absolutely incredible .. there’s nothing much else to say, people have died, people have lost everything and many more are just hanging on. i’ve been reoccupied with watching and reading about this onslaught of rain, floods and subsequent damage. the country towns and now capital city brisbane, are being bombarded with swollen rivers and tsunami like waves of water rushing through their streets, creeks and rivers, in fact making rivers where there were none before. it’s causing grief for apparently 72 odd percent of the state of queensland. the ramifications of this natural disaster will be with us for many, many years.
on a personal note, we the bride and i are fine, on the gold coast we have missed the flooding. we had what semed like months of rain, but we are high and dry at the moment. many thanks to those who have been checking up on us.
diffcult for me to rave on with my usual silly nonsense, but broadcasting will resume shortly, no doubt.

My father, 87 y.o., was in Brisbane when he was in the service. We watched your video together. He was aware that this was going on, but with me spending just about every waking moment trying to get my blog posts together, had no clue. I am glad that you and your new wife are safe and away from this and hope that it doesn't reach your area. I know that you are doing everything you can to help those in need. Don't worry about your blog. People will understand. If you feel you must have a post, get someone to guest post so you don't have to worry about it for awhile. God Bless.

I've been hearing news about this Brisbane floods recently on television…. And worse, it has now come to a level where it's almost uncontrollable…. I really felt for the people who suffered and for the place I once visited and admired… Sad to say, it has now been ruined by this calamity..:( Thank goodness you and your Bride are safe… I'll be praying….
