purpose built water catchment area, just down the road from me .. a hour or so with the camera let me get some good camera fodder .. thanks

the day wandering about with camera was heavy with thunderstorms but this area is normally laden with water to filter it out, prior to flowing into a nearby lake system …

Looks like some kind of animal, legs only, standing in a puddle of water. Haven’t quite figures out what those green things are floating around its hind legs.
