oh my gosh work is hard 10

i can’t believe it, but i’ve survived my first week back at the local coal mine, even though it was only four days. it was a shock getting myself back in the flow, and by today it’s well and truly pouring out.

  • my brian and brain hurts
  • my legs hurt
  • my feet hurt
  • my neck hurts
  • although i’m smoking less and losing some of my extra big belly

this new year will bring some freak’n sights and sounds if this very short exposure endured this week is any indication. torture of an employee will become a theme of mine this year – i can see it coming and i think it should be banned.

i’ll call the union and demand an immediate enquiry, testing and statistical analysis of my frame of mind. i know it’s all for the best and a great challenge, but i think it’ll be more than one challenge, it will be a daily experience, stretching my sphincter beyond it’s natural contraction.

so to offer ballast to this leaning to the dark side, i’ll put on a brave face, keep going and worry less, far less, in fact that much less that those who monitor my “i care and worry level” will be wondering whether i care or worry at all.

what happens now, well it’s the weekend, it’s friday and so i have a tune to chill by .. i’ll chill and say goodnight. have a good weekend yourself – if you have one.
