missing in action {12}
ok dear reader, i’ve been away, away from the computer, but not from the major distractions placed before me. i haven’t posted for two days or commented on blogs or forums that normally catch my eye… for that i apologise. ego the size of house to think that you may have noticed, but as you might guess it is a passion and i’m passionate about it.
the distractions are varied, one being my birthday and i’m now 52, another has been some serious website building. this latest site has proven to be a major creative challenge ( you idiot alan !! ) no it’s just that it took some time, more time than i thought and i don’t know yet whether i’m finished.
so the other issue is health related and i can’t really go into that, suffice to say it’s not me this time, even though my shoulders, arms and back are aching like a place described by believers as not being very nice. sounds like it could be fun to me though.
i am finding it pretty hard to find something to laugh at, take the piss out of ,or even sneer at. a unique situation for me to be in, i’ll tell you. no jokes, no silly tv, no rude inuendo or even a tease. it’s a sad day when that mixture of blogging gold escapes the eye of tbaoo.
oh and btw, my bride is immensely excited, to the point of madness by the “tram wreck million pound episodes of coronation street“. a gas fire ruptures a building, a tram suddenly has no tracks left to run on and crashes head long down into the shops below that were badly hit ( you think ? ) by the huge gas explosion. i’m excited just writing this, the show is really a soap in the truest form, people are yelling that freak’n much it’s is giving me the pips and the end result is two or so characters written out of the series. a child’s father revealed, new mum and her baby, some awkard pre marital affair drama, yelling, yelling and yelling. oh and the tracking zoom you’ll see on this video on that guy is for some major effect, he has just murdered yet another person !!
shit .. it’s all just blubbery, boofheaded and demoglified crap. it’s been on english tv for more than 50 years, so i guess i’m in the minority. if you like it – you love it, if you don’t like it – you hate it !! not hard to guess what camp i’m in.
so dear reader, i’m trying to be happy, but i’m listening to the yelling, stupid freak’n yelling and the responding yelling. i’ll now go and try to sort out some real tbaoo goodness, some silly, some stupid and some fun .. stay tuned … thanks. crap they’re still yelling.
